Ginger the Cat is Lost

 

We moved into 332 East Whittier within the last two weeks and our cat has gone missing.  Any assistance in distributing her flyer and/or info to GV residences will be greatly appreciated.  Ginger is a very sweet and gentle cat, who usually stays indoors.  I'm worried that she won't be able to find her way home since we just moved.  Ginger is an orange with white fur cat with a white belly and front paws are declawed.

Pit Bull Puppy Found

 

On Monday March 1st we found a Pitt Bull puppy.  He is sweet as can be --very loving!  He looks to be five months to a year old, Brindle coloring with some distinct markings that will need to be described by the owner.  We are asking for detail due to the nature of the abuse many in this breed endure.  He is wearing a collar with no tags and there is no microchip.  If you are the owner or know the owner please send me an email.   I would hate for such a sweet puppy to not be returned to his loving home!

Male Boston Terrier found in German Village near Thurman and Jaeger at about 3PM today. Christian at "All About The Dog" 207 Thurman Avenue Is holding the dog. (614) 444-9274

4S Club Fish Fry

The 4S Club will once again being having Friday Night All You Can Eat Fish Fry. Along with the fish you will have the choice of 2 side dishes, roll and dessert for one price. Last year it was $10 when I called today the person I spoke with wasn't sure of the price.For those who aren't a fan of fish they also offer a nice grilled strip steak with 2 sides and dessert. The fish fries start Feb 19 and continue through April 2. Serving time is 6 to 8 p.m The 4S Club is located on E. Whittier St across from Giant Eagle. If you park in Giant Eagle's lot they will tow.

Found Cat Looking For Owner

My wife found this handsome cat Saturday night and brought it in from the cold.  I think it's a fixed male, has a bright red collar, and no tag.  It may have used to have a tag, however.  More importantly,  his tail has a kink in it.  We live at 230 Jackson, and he was just across the street in between two houses.  We asked one of the houses, and they said they'd seen him around but didn't know who's he was, and we never see anyone at the other house.  He seemed to have been out for a long time, as he was meowing a lot, and when my wife called he came running to her. Also, since it was under 10 degrees that night, we figured nobody would have intentionally put him out.   After we had him inside for awhile we opened the door to see if he wanted to go out and he ran away from the door.

The Columbus Kitty Rescue & Adoption Center remains in CRITICAL  need of cash , material donations, volunteers and loving homes.  All the cats and kittens in this facility have been rescued from circumstances where the animal would have suffered or not survived.

The Center is a non-profit facility and depends on caring, generous people to sustain day to day operation.  Serving Merion Village, Schumacher Place and German Village for many years, the Center provides humane alternatives vital to our neighborhood quality of life and development.  Our tri-village area which we all call home is widely considered to be the BEST residential area of Columbus.  Let’s step up.  Find out how you can help !!

All the cats and kittens are completely domesticated with all vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, are litter trained and ready for loving homes.

Please find it your heart to make a donation.  Every dime and dollar counts.  Food and litter are in CRITICAL need.  Recent economic climates have resulted in a dramatic increase in homeless pets.  Cash is needed for veterinary costs.  Please make a donation in the name of a cherished pet, so that others, less fortunate, will survive.  Help our four-legged furry area residents. 

The center is located at 368 East Whittier.  Open House hours are every Saturday from 12 noon to 3 pm.  Stop by and visit.
